Car consignment: What You Need to Know
For car owners in Singapore, buying and selling a car is an inevitable process. This is because Singapore has a unique 10-year Certificate of Entitlement (COE) life limit on all vehicles.
After 10 years, a car has to be deregistered, scrapped, or exported to another country, unless its COE is renewed. Owners must sell their cars before the COE expires.
